Cerebrospinal fluid leak

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak is the discharge of CSF through a hole in the skull bone, most commonly involving drainage from the nose (cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea) or from the ear (cerebrospinal fluid otorrhea), occurring either through the external auditory meatus or through the eustachian tube into the nasopharynx 1).
