Non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis refers to a family of histiocytosis characterized by the absence of Langerhans cells. Many manifest cutaneously. the spectrum of non-Langerhans cell histiocytoses includes Benign cephalic histiocytosis. Generalized eruptive histiocytoma.

Erdheim Chester disease is a non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
